A £2 million transformation delivering a UEFA-ready venue and community hub.

Denbigh Town Football Club CIC transformed outdated facilities into a multi-million-pound, UEFA-ready venue and community hub. Through structured funding support, project coordination, construction handover support and long-term planning, the club secured over £1.4 million in grant funding alongside £600,000 of private investment.

Construction Handover & Documentation

As the construction phase moved towards completion, a significant amount of information needed to be brought together from the different contractors and trades involved in the project.

Core Focus supported the club by coordinating and organising this information, identifying gaps and following up outstanding documentation needed for project completion and handover.

This included O&M information, contractor certificates, warranties, product and equipment information, Building Control documentation and information required for the Building Log Book.

Bringing the information together highlighted the value of having a clear documentation system in place throughout a construction project — ensuring important records are captured as work progresses rather than having to be traced retrospectively at handover stage.
