A little about me and Core Focus

Experience across the whole business

With over 25 years of experience across finance, administration, operations and compliance, I’ve developed a practical understanding of what it takes to keep a business running smoothly.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked across a wide range of responsibilities, from day-to-day financial management and business administration to project coordination, planning documentation and health and safety.

This experience allows me to see the bigger picture, understand how different areas of a business fit together and provide practical, joined-up support.

I also hold the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, awarded with distinction, and have extensive practical experience preparing planning, compliance and operational documentation. This combination of experience and qualifications allows me to support organisations with both their everyday operations and more complex projects.

Why I started Core Focus

I established Core Focus Business Solutions to use the experience I’ve gained throughout my career to help other businesses and organisations.

Having worked across so many areas of business, I understand how challenging it can be to manage competing priorities, particularly when time and resources are limited.

My aim is to provide reliable, flexible support that takes some of that pressure away, allowing clients to concentrate on what matters most to them.

What I can help with

Core Focus provides practical support across bookkeeping, administration, grant funding, governance and project delivery.

I work with businesses, sports clubs, charities and community organisations, whether they need ongoing assistance or help with a particular project.

My approach is flexible, with support tailored to each client’s needs rather than a one-size-fits-all service.
